Terms and Conditions

DELIVERY

  • We ask the person who has made the booking to be present at the venue or have appointed someone to show our team where you would like the play area to be set up. 

  • Please arrange parking space for our delivery van before we arrive if parking is limited. Ideally, this should be as close to the venue entrance doors as possible. 

  • Please ensure we have your contact details on the day so we can contact you. You may also want to provide an alternate number of a close relative or friend who will be with you on the day.

  • All delivery and collection times are approximate and we always try our best to ensure our delivery teams keep within their delivery time slots; however, due to situations and issues outside of the our control such as traffic problems, finding parking, delays at previous deliveries, vehicle breakdowns, etc. we will not be held responsible or liable for any losses or costs incurred by yourselves or any forms of additional compensation. We recommends that you allow 1-2 hours either side of your delivery and collection to ensure the smooth running of your event.

 

 

DELIVERY TO VENUES

  • Due to their weight and bulkiness, our packages cannot be delivered to venues with more than 4 steps to access the main hall, room, or garden. Front steps leading to a door (max. 3) are fine.

  • Direct access or an easily accessible lift must be available at the venue where it will be hired. Please check the lift dimensions are 80cm clear width and 182cm clear length to ensure each pod will fit inside.

  • Delivering play equipment to venues with stairs or a lift will incur an additional charge as it requires more labour and time in setting up. All necessary questions regarding access will be asked during booking.

  • Please do not misinform us about the accessibility of the area where we will be setting up. We know how keen you may be to get our brilliant softplay set up, and we want the same too! Honesty will help us assess and best advise.

  • We reserve the right to refuse delivery of our play equipment if you have misinformed us of the accessibility of the venue because this is a Health and Safety Precaution and your payment will not be returned.

  • If lifts are unavailable or not accommodating at the point of arrival, we will charge an extra £75 if our delivery team are required to use stairs or otherwise refuse delivery.

  • We are not liable for any terms and conditions made between yourself and your venue; Committed To Play or any of its staff cannot be held liable for any losses imposed on you by the venue outside of our own hiring terms and conditions

DELIVERY TO HOMES

  • We do not take responsibility for your pets or children while we are delivering and collecting play equipment. Lock your pets away if they may run away if doors are left open while we go back and forth from our delivery vehicle and supervise your children to ensure they are not underfoot while we set up and collect.

  • If required, we may ask you to sign a liability waiver form which entitles you as the customer to take full responsibility for any damages that may occur as a result of any additional delivery requirements to your venue.

EXTENDING HIRE

  • We understand you and your children may want to extend the hire at short notice. We ask for notice of a request to extend before our collection team arrives. Once they have arrived, we will be unable to grant an extension.

  • If we are able to agree to an extension, a last-minute collection charge will be added in addition to the cost of the overnight or weekend hire option. 

  • Payment will need to be received immediately to ensure the extension can be granted.

OUR SOFT PLAY EQUIPMENT

  • Please refer to the rules for using the softplay equipment: We ask that responsible adult supervision is a must at all times to:

1) Ensure the safety and well-being of the children playing.
2) Prevent accidents from happening.
3) Prevent theft/damage to our play equipment.

  • We do not accept responsibility for any accidents or injuries which occur when using our play equipment.

  • No shoes are to be worn on any of our softplay at any time. Food and drinks are not to be consumed on or near our play equipment at any time. 

  • No henna, face paints, party poppers, coloured streamers, silly string, or slime is to be used on or near our equipment.

  • If you have hired a package that includes a ball pit, balls must be collected and bagged before our arrival to collect play equipment. If balls are not collected and bagged, your deposit will be forfeited. 

  • Play equipment must be collected clean and undamaged for the full refund to be issued. 

  • Please help us by ensuring play equipment hired is not scattered around the venue. This will also save you time if you have a set time to be out of a venue.

  • Do not release our play equipment to anyone other than the setup team to avoid confusion or theft of our softplay equipment.

  • Sub-hire and leasing of our equipment is strictly forbidden

  • Committed To Play can accept no liability for injuries sustained or any other loss, howsoever caused, in the absence of the negligence of Committed To Play or its employees. As the equipment will be in the hirer's possession and control whilst in use rather than Committed To Play.

  • Any liability for injuries or other losses caused other than in the circumstances described above rests with the hirer. Accordingly, it is strongly recommended that the hirer has adequate public liability insurance covering his or her liability arising from the use of the inflatable.
